A&T Volleyball release schedule

The North Carolina A&T volleyball team will have a new look in 2012 after the signing of five players to go along with the nucleus that was already assembled. The new-look Aggies will make their debut on August 24 in the Western Carolina Wildcat Classic against St. Peter’s at 4 p.m., in Cullowhee, N.C.

Bee Gees’ Robin Gibb dies after long cancer battle

With his carefully tended hair, tight trousers and perfect harmonies, Robin Gibb, along with his brothers Maurice and Barry, defined the disco era. As part of the Bee Gees — short for the Brothers Gibb — they created dance floor classics like “Stayin Alive,” ”Jive Talkin’,” and “Night Fever” that can still get crowds onto a dance floor.


Miles signs with the Lions

Former North Carolina A&T receiver Wallace Miles, the first player in school history to lead the football team in receiving four straight seasons, has signed a free agent contract with the NFL’s Detroit Lions.



North Carolina A&T has a new head women’s basketball coach. Today, Director of Athletics Earl Hilton announced Tarrell Robinson will head the program. A press conference will be held next week to introduce the new head coach.


Indie.Arie grooves in Harrison

Last week, Aggies were reminded that India.Arie is not her hair nor the sum of her biggest hits. As part of the annual Lyceum Series, the Grammy award winner took the stage at Harrison Auditorium on April 25 to a packed house of students, staff, and Greensboro community members.
